Version of 4 October 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the adl.market website (operated by ADL TRADE S.R.L.) uses, what they are for and how to manage your consent. It is based on Law No. 133/2011 on personal data protection and takes into account Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the consent standards in Articles 4(11) and 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and pixels. Below we call all of them “cookies”.
2. What is used now
As of this version, the site uses only strictly necessary cookies. No analytics or advertising services are enabled, and no data about you is shared with third-party analytics or advertising services.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and set without consent, because without them the site cannot provide the service you request.
- NEXT_LOCALE — chosen site language; 12 months;
- adl_customer_session — account sign-in; until sign-out or session expiry;
- adl_consent — your cookie settings choice; 12 months;
- adl-cart (localStorage) — cart contents and promo code; until the cart is cleared;
- sessionStorage — registration and checkout drafts; until the tab is closed.
3. Optional categories
These categories are available in the settings so that you can state your choice in advance. If we enable the relevant services, they will work only with your consent; the services and cookies will be listed on this page and we will ask for your consent again.
- Personalisation and location data — remembering your settings and, with separate browser permission, detecting your location to suggest the delivery area and price; up to 12 months;
- Analytics — visit statistics to improve the site. Possible service — Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), cookies _ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years;
- Marketing and advertising — showing relevant ads and measuring their effectiveness. Possible services — Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), cookies _fbp, _fbc, up to 3 months; Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited), cookies _gcl_*, up to 3 months.
Such services may process data outside the Republic of Moldova (EU, USA) under their own privacy policies.
4. How consent works
- On your first visit the site shows a banner where you can accept all cookies, keep only the necessary ones or choose categories. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
- Optional services do not load before you consent; categories are off by default.
- Your choice is kept for 12 months. When it expires, or when the list of cookies changes, we will ask again.
- To prove that consent was obtained, we keep a record of your decision: identifier, date, policy version, chosen categories, language and browser type and, for signed-in users, a link to the account.
- You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. On withdrawal we delete the analytics and advertising cookies that we can remove from our site.
5. Card payments
Once card payments are enabled, the bank's payment page and 3-D Secure check may use the bank's own strictly necessary cookies for payment security. They are set on the bank's site and governed by its policy.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the site may not work properly: language, cart and sign-in will not be remembered.
7. Contacts
